about
I am a British-Vietnamese, Edinburgh-based writer, facilitator and community organiser, whose work currently engages with storytelling at the intersection of identity, migration, grief and community. I have written for magazines and media platforms such as shado, gal-dem and Bad Activist Collective.
I have been active in community-building and organising spaces for several years, with a focus on East and Southeast Asian communities in the UK. I have worked across various community engagement initiatives, including creative workshops and facilitation of active bystander training in situations of identity-based harm.
Out now: Beyond Belonging (Sage)
Written in collaboration with two fellow organisers, this work examines how organisers can move past identity politics and anti-racism work that operates in isolation among different communities, towards sustainable action, solidarity and liberation. Buy here.
